
Ass. prof. Azur Tulumović, MD, PhD
Specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics
He is a member of the Association of Gynecologists and Perinatologists of the Tuzla Canton, the Association of Endoscopic Surgeons of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Croatian Medical Chamber.
During his specialization training, he spent six months at Buffalo General Hospital in the state of New York, USA. He also completed a six-month training period at "Sveti Duh" General Hospital in Zagreb, where he acquired the skills necessary for independently performing endoscopic procedures (hysteroscopic and laparoscopic) in gynecology.
He worked as a consultant at Muhayil General Hospital in Muhayil, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (2019–2021), followed by a position at Mother and Child Hospital in Sakaka, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (2022–2023).
From May to November 2005, he trained at Hôpital Civil, University of Strasbourg, at the Clinic for Gynecology, Obstetrics, and Senology, under the mentorship of Professor J. Philippe Brettes. He actively participated in a research project investigating the development of endometrial carcinoma following tamoxifen treatment for breast cancer.
To date, he has published or publicly presented 14 authored and co-authored papers at national and international congresses.
